Welcome to my original fiction archive. This isn't all of it, by any means, but rather just some of the naughty stuff. There will be more added soon, I'm sureI never seem to quit writing for very long. This stuff can be considered offensive, as I do write a lot of homosexual characters (nah, really? Wonder where I got that impression...) and sometimes the language is more than a bit strong. So beware, if you're easily offended, you really don't belong here. Oh, and by the way, I usually write fantasy when I'm not doing the fanfic thingnone of this is sci-fi except the Net and Revenant. Oh, and now Red Racer. Okay, so I do write original sci-fi... how odd...
I know, I know.... I keep re-using the damn title. But I really like the word, and it applies so easily to some of the stories I write...
Anyway, this Revenant is a creepy science fiction tale. It involves a bit of romance, a bit of horror, and a whole lot of revenge.
Yes, I know... lame title. Oh well.
There's a song by Rush, called Red Barchetta, that's been tickling at my imagination for years. The story finally came together in my head. So this is kind of a songfic, but it grew well beyond the framework of the song.
A bit of a warning... this is set in a genre I don't usually write much in, even though I find it fascinating: post-apocalyptic sci-fi. So it's a hair on the depressing side, when you look at what happened to the poor world. But I think the romance balances out the sadness quite nicely, for once. ;)
Leena was just an ordinary kennel girl, content with her lot in life. And then one day she bacame entangled in the plots of the local nobility, which launched her into an incredible series of events which changed her life forever.
In the twilight of the Elder Days, a story was told which was so improbable as to be disbelieved even by its witnesses. For though it is said that love knows no boundaries, still it is frowned upon when one loves outside one's own species. Here, then, is the tale of one such occurance...
What happens when an honest constable discovers his former best friend is a murderer? And worse yet, that he wants something more than mere friendship...?
A very odd short story. What if mankind was created as an experiment, and the one performing the experiment returned to check its progress?
It is the very near future. People have begun to take the next step in the world of computers, and are having them implanted into their heads. But are there hidden dangers lurking in the Net...?
